Product Introduction:
GDY-II voltage detector can be used to distinguish the positive and negative charges carried by charged bodies. At present, there are three widely used types: luminous, acousto-optic, and windmill. They are generally composed of three main parts: the detection part (indicator part or windmill), the insulation part, and the handshake part. The insulation part refers to the part from the metal connecting screw at the bottom of the indicator to the cover guard ring, and the handshake part refers to the part below the cover guard ring. The length of the insulation and handshake parts varies depending on the voltage level.
Product nickname:Electrical tester, audio-visual tester
Application methods and specifications of voltage testers
1The high-voltage voltage tester put into use must be a qualified tester after electrical testing, and the high-voltage tester must be tested regularly to ensure its good performance.
2When using high-voltage voltage testers, it is necessary to wear high-voltage insulated gloves and shoes, and have a dedicated person supervise.
3Before using a voltage tester, it is necessary to first check whether the tester is in good condition and effective. In addition, the alarm should be checked correctly on live equipment that is suitable for the voltage level before going to the equipment that needs to be grounded for testing. It is forbidden to use voltage testers that do not correspond to the voltage level for testing to avoid making incorrect judgments during on-site testing. Application Methods and Standards: Application Methods and Standards
4When conducting an electrical test, one must be focused and not do anything unrelated to the test, such as making or receiving phone calls, in order to avoid errors or omissions in the test.
5The electrical inspection of the line should be carried out phase by phase. When inspecting the circuit breakers, isolating switches or other maintenance equipment used for interconnection, the electrical inspection of each phase on both sides of the incoming and outgoing lines should be carried out separately.
6When conducting electrical inspections on multi-layer power lines erected on the same tower, the prior low voltage, the posterior high voltage, the prior lower layer, and the posterior upper layer should be considered.
7The electrical test on the capacitor bank should be carried out after it has been discharged.
8During electrical testing, gradually bring the metal working contact at the top of the tester closer to the live part until the neon bubble emits light or an audible alarm signal is heard. Do not directly contact the live part of the electrical equipment. The voltage tester should not be affected by nearby charged objects, resulting in the emission of incorrect signals.
9If a ladder is required for electrical testing, a sturdy ladder made of insulating material should be used, and necessary anti slip measures should be taken. The use of metal ladders is prohibited.
10After the electrical verification is complete, the grounding operation should be carried out immediately. If the fault is interrupted and the grounding is not carried out in a timely manner after the electrical verification, the electrical verification must be repeated if it is necessary to continue the operation.
